ExoBak

The object of this project was to design a product that targets the micro logistics industry. Instead of designing another “smart” AI-powered delivery van, we decided to focus on the human factor of this field. With the rapid advancement in technology, more and more positions are becoming automated but human labor, due to its dexterity is an essential part of this field that cannot be removed from the chain anytime soon.

We chose to focus on delivery drivers and after lots of primary and secondary research, we came up with the ExoBak which is a passive exosuit that supports the back muscles by using elastic bands and encourages the right lifting posture by putting pressure on the lower back if the user bends with their back instead of their knees.
